Were Buddhists and Jains Persecuted in Ancient India?
Ore donga bapana,
Neegu thelusa, but for the Golti Nayak kings your varnsramadharma would not have survived. In a way the Nayak kings upheld your stupid ideas and patronized you, which is what makes me feel very bad about my ancestors.
Periyar belongs to the same Nayaka lineage and to some extent he compensated his ancestors' injustice.

Corruption is omnipresent. Just because we share a few traits doesn't mean India and Pakistan can be lumped in the same plane.
You can always prefer to hallucinate.

"The idea of `invasion’ is actually a naive exaggeration. Most of north western India was fairly sparsely populated in ancient times and the great Indian cities (after the Harappan period) were mainly in the region of present day Bihar until the 6th century BC so many alien tribes from less fertile areas of the north simply entered with little opposition from the local inhabitants."Murad Saab,

All I can say is Madani Saab, inspite of hurting remarks, has been very honest and has spoken his mind. The notion of ethnic superiority and complexion is for real. Why should we try to push it under the rug?
I can assure you it is not the forte of only Pakistanis rather lot so many believe in this till Tamilnadu....irony it is where most number of people are dark but would still prefer a fairer skin to lord over.
You know why Jayalalitha is worshipped...Do you think our folks are refined enough to value intellect? Its her skin saa...She is ugly to the core but people love her cos she's fair...

What makes you think Pakistan or for that matter any country's intitution could be people's mandate? Do you think Indian constitution would be good for the sensitivities for all of the Indians.
It is just not practical.

Or can it be rephrased as something like this. Reservation policy has managed to successfully obliterate the pride associated with calling oneself an upper caste Hindu...

nkg,
The Islam you speak is not of Cheema Sahib's variety. He represents some other version of Islam as I tend not to represent the RSS version of Hinduism. Islam is again subjective to individual interpretations. Wait till a benign Islam leader calls the shots, we may see a new dimension to it.

I just don't understand what it means to you. You have made your views clear vis-a-vis religion and your belief system. By dying Muslim what is that you are trying to assert? Can I understand that you still would want to die without severing your Muslim relations.
