In 60 years what has Pakistan done for Pakhtuns?
MMA uses his energies to cover up the signboards showing women faces and to protest against U.S Policies rather bringing investor dollars to the province. Thats what happened when pplz elect ASSes like Americans elected Dubya.

IB, Pakhtoon Khan must be an Afghan not a Pakistani national. Pathans on our side of the border dont think like him and are better off with being a Pakistani.... heck even Afghan refugees attempt to get Pakistani citizenship when they come over not the other way around. He must be high on good opium - the only famous produce from Afghanistan.MMA uses his energies to cover up the signboards showing women faces and to protest against U.S Policies rather bringing investor dollars to the province. Thats what happened when pplz elect ASSes like Americans elected Dubya.

Compare the development in Karachi and Lahore to development in Peshwar..what is stopping you guys to do progress?? Nothing but the mentality of blaming everything on Federal government and Punjab I think. Why can't local governments be able to produce their own resources and does reforms rather just producing controversies like Hasba Bill?. What company would like to come to your industrial estates giving the security conditions of the province?
If you like Afghanistan feel free to go there to help the pathan community.. Not much border check anyway...the dreams of Pakistani regions becomes Afghanistan is like Puerto Ricans giving up U.S citizenship for being Cubans.

Pukhtoon khana, the elections in Pakistan have sent the message to all - politics based on ethnicity is dying in Pakistan when ANP had a hard time to secure its traditional seats in elections and MQM 'reverted' to use Mohajir slogans. Now that you have a democratically elected government of MMA by pathans since last several years, better be asking these questions to them - WHERE IS THE PROGRESS? Compare the development in Karachi and Lahore to development in Peshwar..what is stopping you guys to do progress?? Nothing but the mentality of blaming everything on Federal government and Punjab I think. Why can't local governments be able to produce their own resources and does reforms rather just producing controversies like Hasba Bill?. Pakis who have prosecuted exactly ZERO people for the genocide of 71 have no right to talk about such thing...

And Advani, Uma and Joshi are not responsible of anybodies death.

NY, Asking us Hindus to be in harmony with Muslims is antithesis of TNT. You will be a hypocrite even to suggest that.
}
Arjun2, Two wrongs make a right is a logical fallacy . If there are issue in your society then admit it rather taking it to another side of the border. Pakistani were wrong at 71, they publically admit this and accepted the creation of Bangladesh due to their own wrong doings however Indians never seems to accept Pakistan and call it division of India rather a partition from British India. All the rants and raves since 60 years over partition are a proof of this.
Cobra, seems like you did not read the article in the link. Advani jee's Rath Yatra was the main cause of all that "Communal anger" (word borrowed from Jang).
Rahi baat TNT ki to... this doesnt give anyone license to murder, rape and loot a minority. 160 million pakistani dont face the situations that Indian muslims fear..except they get killed by their own sometimes...freakin sick but in my opinion it is better then loosing all hopes due to majority rules and false slogans of Justice for all.
You are right.. every riot there infact validates TNT.

This is a shame for Indian Justice system when Muslim criminals get punished but the Hindu criminals remains the top leadership of the country...Advani, Joshi, Uma, Thakery, Acharya all should be held responsible for the genocide of Indian Muslims in 92.This is pure discrimination and by an interactor's word selective justice in Indian society.

someone in an annonymous british blog wrote these very interesting lines:
Let me sum up. If you don`t like Rushdie you are a Philistine [an inhabitant of Palestine]. If you do like him you are a snob. If you hate him you are a terrorist. If you are an Islamic fundamentalist you wish to murder him. If you honour him you are inflammatory, insensitive and you are denying Beckham`s merits.
I could not care less about Rushdie. What label can I have?
I couldn`t agree more of this blogger. Why give such a importance to a deluded writer who is cashing in on Free publicity and get awarded beased on social climbings.

The champions of freedom of speech in west shut their mouth when talk about Holocaust Denial and the treatment of people who have the Point of View. They have issues with MF Hussain painting naked goddesses but have no problem when Rushdie writing insults the faith and get rewarded from the Queen. What about Dan Brown?? his writings have also open doors for `research` in christianity, to hell with the church, award him ``Sir`` as well but no. someone in an annonymous british blog wrote these very interesting lines:

An eye opener for people who dont know the ground realities of the city and the reasons behind its support of MQM. You provide a very interesting comparison of 1989 and 2007. thank you!

chief Minister of Sind (where Urdu-Speakers are 20% of the poulation) is also urdu-speaking...All governors are ex-military men...
}
The claim of Urdu-Speakers are 20% of the poulation is highly disputed.
Chief minister of sindh, Arbab Ghulam Rahim is native sindhi speaker.
All governers are not military men.
Sindh`s Governer is ISHRAT-UL-IBAD, a civilian.
Balochistan`s governer is Owais Ahmed Ghani, also a civilian
At least do some research about what you are writing before becoming keyboard warrior

because totality of punjabi live in punjab, it makes sense for urdu speakers to live in karachi, you know ghar ka mahol...
(2) Why is Urdu Paksiatn`s official/national language while only 10% of Pakistanis have Urdu as their mother tongue?
Pakistan`s Official language is English. So none should have issues in understanding of it including felllow punjabis. The national language is urdu because it is understandable in all four of the provinces.. idiotic to say because of mother tongue, local languages should be made national
(3) Why urdu-speaking establishment has tried since 1947 not to give provinces autonomy
Urdu speaking establishment??? did i hear it right?? hahaha for you every non-punjabi is urdu speaker, ain`t that right...?? so by counting the three non punjabi head of armed forces and some establishment people every blames go to mohajirs.
anyway just FYI, Pakistan`s civil service is selected through competitive exams, but recruitment is carried out on the basis of provincial quotas, which does not always ensure equal opportunities on merit for all candidates.
What does it tell you, the Punjabis who are the biggest ethnic group are the most among all ethnicties who get selected in establishment. Go check figures who is the most dominent group in Pakistan`s establishment before blaming urdu speaking community. The head of an organization doesnt mean shit, the armed forces is the most organised and strongest institution of Pakistan and policy making is done collectively not individually.
