get your facts straight discoverer...
Hindi is a derivative of Sanskrit and uses teh devnagri script...and Sanskrit is older than 5the century BC, back to the aryan period and thankfully THUS not a derivative of Urdu.

Please refer to wikipedia....and dont giv BS here about what u know half about.

Hindi does indeed use parts of some Urdu words, and Urdu is equally influenced by Hindi in the region. Both the languages have bee used historically in the same region ie India-Pakistan. and have this has been so for verry verry long. Thus they are bound to influence each other to some extent.

yeah listn manto
no1 gives a damn what u think of Mahatma Gandhi and others. The whole world admires him and appreciates Mahatma for his contribution to the world. So really, sod off and give your lecture to those who might care, and i think thats only in pakiland.

i now get it, why every1 was saying its sad that manto has left n whatnot cuz of the interesting things that were said with u. You trying to defend something thats simply not defendable...its great fun to watch and say :D:D. hehe.

doesnt matter who signed who and who;s bad or not
fact of the matter is....kashmir is with us, pakistan cannot take it away from us, by force (laughing my ass of at the though!!) or by any other means.
Second, had the rest of Kashmir gone with Pakistan then they would be living in the same miserable conditions that `Azad` Kashmir lives in.Abject poverty, no development. Any search on the net will prove that azad kashmir is like going back in time and civilization. Kashmir is far better off with us. Now on the context, with India`s rapidly growing ecnonomy, this difference is sure to increase and soon there will be no doubt where the kashmiris want to go.

Now there was this chap saying that Azad kashmir is NOT OFFICIALLY a part of pakistan and that shud be the case with the rest of kashmir too...india shud not have entered kashmir to the Indian Union.....u do know that for contesting in the SO CALLED ELECTIONS in azad kashmir every candidate has to sign a pledge stating that he completely supports Kasmirs accession to pakistan and will continue to do so and support the cause of liberation of kashmir. Every person who holds a government office, has to sign the same pledge before he starts his job...now, do u call this `azad`. Further to my point some research showed(all u gotta do is google whether PoK is better than the indian kashmir or not) that azad kashmir has the WORST human right abuses than anywhere else and yes ladies and gentlemen, everywhere else INCLUDES indian kashmir.

And dont even bother saying u people get to VOTE !! to elect your leaders! heh!

i believe the pakistani constitution is in its 59th revised edition!

and for the final part...Pakistan never had and never will be able to match India in any sphere of life, be it military or economy, if ever u go to war with us....Pakistan would be wiped-off-the-face-of-the-planet, while we would be sustaining serious injuries at max. Pakistan is a near failed state that doesnt even have an ecnonomy to sustain a damn war for more than a week. They practically live on the handouts from U.S. So please in gods name , try to improve your country and ask yourself why even after half a century of freedom, u still dont have democracy and u still think about achieving ``enlightened moderation`` while your neighbour who got indepedence at the same time is prospering.

For a reality check, hope over to New Delhi or Mumbai or Chennai and see the difference , if u can get the visa and see, that no1 gives a damn about religion, but we give a damn about your nationality. And while ur here also see the many protests that people and political parties organise against the governments policies without the government comming down their throats and throwing them in prisons.

actually im born and bred New Delhi...

but i clearly see where ur going??....trying to coax south India to rebel eh?? u think that south India should form a separate country...lol...thinly veiled your comments are!

anyways, like i said there are more SEZ`s in Haryana, et all northern india btw.
and for a fact companies in the last 5 years have all indexed India and found that states like UP and Haryana are better suited to setup commercial complezes and centres than the south owing to many reasons.

since all YOU know and have heard about India is from the IT industry in the south, i dont think u are the best judge in the issue, so go read before u rant here.

is that why u directly went and attacked religion? so if a man criticises your country and your government, u would directly insult his religion? hmmmm...something to think about eh?

Mr Taikonaut was criticising on a State in India. I responded with some views over the state of developments. I criticised your country and u start on religion...

anyway, dont even bother talking about FDI, without trying half as hard we get investments in our country and the fact of you saying :

``Go and beg for your FDI. You need it more than Pak does because you have nothing else but to beg for tidbits``

umm...isnt your government going to the U.S. and elsewhere trying to market Pakistan and trying to woo more investments there?? Assuring everyone that Pakistan is a `safe` place to come and start businesses and to invest in so basically?. So dont give me the rhetoric that having FDI and other investments is a bad thing and u dont need it, atleast show a modern attitude and not of the middle ages. Because our companies are thriving today, mobile fones, tv, cable network etc are available freely and cheaply in India. There are more jobs in the market where the students are getting employed. Internet is much cheaper than Pakistan and has much more penetration in the public.Dont even get me started on these things.

Well, you have succeded then! no company is comming to invest in Pakistan!! JUST like you wanted im sure.

God bless you
And again
i hope the best for my country and yours but i also wish this time that no respected company shud ever hav the fortune of meeting you, shud they decide to enter the Pakistani market.

oh and fyi for zeemax

just because i am a Hindu defending my country does not mean that India is Hindu, India is as much Hindu as Islam, it is secular, India belongs to me as much as my Muslim friend. This ought to be clear from the vast number of Indian MP`s being Muslim. I celebrate eid-ul-fitr as much as my friend who brings savayin kheer to me. We have a Muslim president fpr god sakes whom we ALL adore. It shud be clear enough from that.If not then u are a FOOL. Muslims does not automatically mean Pakistanis, so we must all hate them.

MR Taikonaut
I have increased respect for you now for telling zeemax.
I could also go in a rant about Islam but that is not what i am against or about, i have great respect for Islam, as also the fact that one of my best friends is a Mulsim and a devout one at that!

On to the issue
Mr taikonaut, the fact that southern India is what it is today is NOT because of its achievements ALONE.U shud know that more than half the people working in the IT industry in the south come from north India and a vast percentage is from Bihar and UP, etc. I am not denying that these states have pathetic physical infrastructure and ecnomy.

They do and by-god they need imeediate help, (thankgod lalu has been removed now! and the new govt is trying really hard to make Bihar a much better state) but because of these things biharis are among the most intelligent types in India, practically half the civil service cadres in India are filled by Biharis. Like i said, they make up by leaving their land bihar and becoming great elsewhere. The south also has one of the most intelligent people, but my point is, that south alone would not have gotten half of what it has now without these states.

as also u shud know that Rajasthan has been removed from BIMARU states and others are in the process of doing so.States have become self-aware and realised their potential and are now desperately trying to improve their infrastructure and etc. Everytime a new foreign company wants to set up base, we have these states fighting like dogs so that the campus would be established in their state. This is unlike from the past where states like UP, MP, Orissa never bothered due to which every company went south. A balanced growth is now comming in the country.

We have an excellent PM who is trying to make things better for our country and people. Every passing year we see more and more Indians in the Forbes 500 list and Indian companies in the $Billion club. The ecnomy is buoyant and we are moving towards a better future. The military is trying to modernize and improvise, we are trying to resolve the border disputes with neighbours (we already have resolved some problems with China and the mood is in the upswing). We will become a great ecnonomic power in the next 50 years surpassing the GDP of Britain and France. Then the border disputers will become irrelevant as any state would rather be with India than any other country because of the oppurtunity and development it will get here(and i dont mean pakistan by that, bangladesh basically). The same thing that happened with US and Mexico.

But by no means are we done, we also have some HUGE astronomical problems: we have corruption in our system, that is thankfully on the decline with the Right To Information law comming in place and the media. We also have dengue , polio which we are trying to eradicate, we have insurgency and loads of other things.

So i hope the best for my country and yours.

Mr harimau
if ur all for dropping nukes on your own country`s states, then u sure as hell are not proud of your nation:( .Before u drop nukes on west bengal, know that it has one of the highest FDI`s in the country, ahead of tamil nadu and other states. same goes for other states, if it was not for bihar, India would not have half the minerals it has now. So appreciate every state for what its got for its a combined effort of everything that our country is not like pakistan or afghanistan or iraq or somalia. It is also understandable that we have a long way to go to come at par with other developed nations.

Mr taikonaut or whatever the hell it is...

the biharis maybe reproducing at an exceptionally fast rate but dont forget that they are intellectual capitalists, one of the most intelligent people in the planet. They are mostly the ones who are going to U.S. and elsewhere and spreading India`s name and fame as being an intellectual country among Indians from other states!! so they might be reproducing fast, but atleast they got brains unlike you people in pakistan who know only how to fire bloody AK 47`s and lob grenades.

And as far as UP goes, i believe that the state of UP ALONE has more FDI than your ENTIRE worthless country! heh, i read somewhere the other day that u guys were HOPING and AIMING to get like 4 or 5 billion dollars FDI in your country by the end of the decade! pathetic!

as for us, theres no comparison b/w my country and yours, yours is a backward country while mine is an advanced developing nation poised for greater prosperity while yours will simply be declared a `failed-state` by the end of the decade. So before u go out talking trash about US, look in your own house.

Namaste, salaams.

china attacked India
so how the hell can u say that chine is the only country in the world that has never attacked another nation barring tibet.
It is an internationally accepted fact that the chinese waged a war against India.

MR Salim Chauhan
it is sad to see that even though u sound like a modern man with a positive outlook you are still led to believe things by your country that u shud have noticed otherwise.

99% of the INDIANS dont care if ur a muslim or not.If u say some1 ur a muslim he will look at you in the same light as he would a Hindu. As u might have read somewhere that we have a considerable number of muslims in our great country. Please in the name of God donot believe what u hear in your country, as it is plain BS. My best friend is also a muslim. Yes, though upon hearing that u are a Pakistani, the people will be hostile to you.I can honestly say that i myself shall be less hospitable towards you on hearing that u are a pakistani BUT bear in mind that the hostility is towards your country, not at you personally and certainly, CERTAINLY not because of your religion.

And please to clarify further if this discussion turns into a `oh my god the Indians still cannot let go of the fact that pakistan exists`, Indians, GENERALLY hate pakistan not because of the fact that it exists but because of the policies that it has pursued. That it built itsxelf upon Anti-India sentiments and it has always tried to destroy India. Because of the terrorism it outsources to India, because it tries to compete with india and spreads lies about us.If the Pakistani political establishment had half a mind they would realise the benifit of having friendship with India, such benifits cannot be realised with any other country. It is their loss and not ours, we are still going towards a bright future whereas they will remain in their state of pettiness and backwardness.
