Time for Musharraf to Quit
None of the educated pakistanis saw any surrender fo sovereignty in the action. Their own presdident remains in office as long as the US administration feels that he should.
Self respect...well let me check the book, there is no such notion...it is surrender to the laws of the book. AT last pakistan is a true islamic republic.

It is not up to the pakistanis to decide when mushy should quit, it is for teh US. The pakis who cried blue when a few paki soldiers were killed by the US are happy when zardari asked nawaz to come with him to teh US to convince the US that mushy should go.None of the educated pakistanis saw any surrender fo sovereignty in the action. Pakistan’s Prevailing Political And Economic Mess
It is sad to see that such economic malice is happening in pakistan. This can be traced to teh education system, where the incompetant have come to the top.
A good example here on chowk is YLH, he is supposed to be US educated, but is completely bigotted, has no sense of reality, keeps telling that gandhi was a supporter of caste system, and was a muslim hater.
If YLH represent the elite educated of pakistan, no wonder that the all of teh paki polices are crazy.

Hallo, the educated of pakistan, is it not the ultimate insult to teh notion of sovereignty.
NO I made a mistake, for a muslim to be killed by an infidel is terrible, that is per the book, the eductaed only clothe the religious dogma in modern terms like sovereignties.
The book is silent of the infidels selecting the rulers, hence it is OK for the paki educated.
What is destroying pakistan is this pretance of modernity, hiding the religious dogmas.
There has been not even a single article stating that the rulers being selected by the US is an insult to teh sovereignty. And that is pathetic

Raining free tomatoes
KOLAR: With no solution in sight for the minimum support price for tomato, tomato growers have decided to stage a novel protest here on Tuesday.
The Kolar Jilla Tomato Belegarara Sangha, a newly formed association of tomato growers, has resolved to dump a truck load of tomatoes in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office for free distribution.
“This peaceful agitation is to convince the authorities about the problems of tomato growers,” honorary president of the sangha Eshwarappa said.
The farmers in Kolar and Chickballapur district have been waging a struggle for the past two weeks demanding Rs. 5 as support price per kg of tomato.

PESHAWAR: 80pc handicraft centres closed in Swat: Pressure from militants
By Ali Hazrat Bacha
PESHAWAR, July 14: About 80 per cent of the handicraft centres in parts of upper Swat have been closed due to pressure from militants, people in the business told Dawn.
A number of embroidery centres, being supervised by non-governmental organisations and community-based organisations, were closed in Khwazakhela when the organisers received threatening letters from unidentified militants, a source said. In the letters, the women were warned to avoid coming out of their houses without male family members. Thus many of the women preferred to stay at home instead of taking risk of life, she added.

Genuine tourist attaractions are there in FATA and they should be publicised. One of them is the p[ak army training of teh surrender ceremony, drilled into teh head of every paki soldier. here is one such ceremony, that should have been a big tourist attaraction, paki army men surrendering to the jihadis, and the paki army camp being blown up.The shallow humour of teh author hides genuine tourist opportunities.

$15m export loss likely as US firm files bankruptcy
By Our Staff Reporter
KARACHI, July 12: A leading importer of readymade garments from Pakistan has filed chapter 11 in the US court for bankruptcy thereby threatening remittances of millions of dollars against shipments made by many exporters.
The importing company Steve & Barry’s had been a leading buyer of garments from Pakistan. However, for some reason the company for last several months stopped remitting proceeds against shipments from Pakistani exporters.
According Rafiq Godil, the chairman of the action committee formed for the rescue of victims of Steve & Barry exports income over $15 million would be lost in case the company is declared bankrupt.

India calls for ISI liquidation
By Jawed Naqvi
NEW DELHI, July 12: India’s top security official claimed to have evidence on Saturday of the involvement of ISI in the recent suicide attack on Delhi’s embassy in Kabul and said time had come to destroy the spy agency.
“We not only suspect but we have a fair amount of intelligence,” India’s National Security Adviser M.K. Narayanan told television channels.
He was commenting on speculation about Pakistan’s involvement in the devastating attack on Monday.
“The ISI needs to be destroyed. We made this point, whenever we have had a chance, to interlocutors across the world... There might have been some tactical restraint for some time, obviously that restraint is no longer present,” he said.

This is teh best time to seek a deal with the jihadis, move all paki troops away, and let teh Us sort out. That is what the jihadis want, and give it to them.
Then again, it is more than likely that the jihadis will bomb islamabad for every Us attack. Well...well then the army will have to give weapons to the jihadis to defend themselves, because jihadis are part of the paki army.
That will be the time for B52s. Karachi..be ready, the jihadis are moving in, as they escape teh bombing. Osama, head for karachi from the militray barracks in peshawar.
Mullen’s unannounced visit fuels speculation
Sunday, July 13, 2008

ISLAMABAD: US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen, who arrived here on an announced visit on Saturday, held back-to-back meetings with the top Pakistani political and military leadership to share evidence of the American claims that responsible elements within the country's security agencies were giving comprehensive support to Taliban and al-Qaeda elements.
His short but crucial visit coincided with reports that large-scale military attacks by the Nato-led coalition forces in the country's tribal areas were imminent. Notably, Mullen arrived here following his announcement he made in Kabul that Pakistan's tribal areas had become a safe haven for "militants and extremists" and that the US had prepared a strategy for dealing with the alarming situation.

Satya,
There is nothing cataclysmic, even the creation of bangladesh was a wimper. Already FATA is seperate from pakistan, they have their own legal system, their own supreme leader, their own army. The paki troops are in the last stages of all out withdrawal.
Already there are parts of karachi that are no go zones, only fcat is that this will become larger. Eventually just like FATA, paki army and the govt machinery will withdraw. Now pakis have created a model and a process, which other like sindh can follow.
Not a big deal, and india will have to deal with sindh and punjb ( re-named pakistan). Already the US forces are dealing with FATA independant of pakistan. When paki foreign minister is declaring taht foreign forces will not allowed to operate in pakistan, nato jets were bombing the paki soldiers. No big deal. FATA is not part of pakistan and even the minister agrees.
