Hindu caste system is never static… great sages were non- Brahmans… valmiki who compiled Ramayan was a hunter by birth , Vyas who compiled Mahabharat was born to woman plying boats. Great sage Vishwamitra was a Kshatriya .

There have been many instances in the past where non- brahmans have become brahmans. Any system needs fresh blood to sustain itself.

If non – Brahman people who can follow basic Brahman tenets , be called accepted by the society at large as brahmans……. Then no-body can accuse Hinduism of having a “oppressive caste” system
