I have spent a huge part of my life in Riyadh.... & it doesn’t suck....the hyper markets, the malls , the parks, .....even the absolutely veiled life is not that bad...& who can 4get the food: shwarmas, kabsas, basbousahs, halawas, ....how can anyone hate riyadh???...plus its the most peaceful city in the world...

but in dammam, some 400 km from riyadh
can write a 15-page thesis about life in saudia (in how many ways it sucks and the very few good reasons to be here)
but guess nobody’s goin to read this

talking of dxb - am back from my vacation
dxb was grrrrreat apart from the few hitches in the airport - which involved a 5 hr wait at the bassbort clearance
can anyone tell me what stage the dxb stock exchange is in. Has it opened - is it functioning - waghera
