actually everytime i look at matt damon and ben affleck i think, dogma. and no, matt’s not really a great actor, but he was good in good will hunting, and he’s chosen some interesting roles. i think in a few years he will mature. . . flag objectionable content

I think its only in Bagger Vance that he looked more of the character he was playing and less of himself.A word abt Affleck,I saw a film festival interview of his, and he is genuinely witty and hilarious.Wonder why he looks so much of a dud on screen. flag objectionable content

Matt Damon is very likable as an actor and he definitely knows what movies to choose but I dont know if I’d describe him as a good actor. more of a dependable actor. He just looks better than he is when you compare him to ben affleck. flag objectionable content

Damon is a fairly intelligent and articulate guy.However, I think he stops just short of being a good actor. Good will hunting had a terrific screen play.But his best work, IMO, was in The legend of Bagger Vance, a Robert Redford movie. flag objectionable content

i watched it again not too long ago as well, and it was really nice to watch after such a long break from it. yeah, matt damon’s amazing. and i think he’s surpassed his good buddy ben in the variety or range of roles he’s had. flag objectionable content
