R_D, Lacuna Coil remind me of my bachpanna and I’ll agree that they’re shite but I stil maintain Blonde-Redhead sound similar to them
I just don’t get the Sonic Youth parallels, maybe I need to listen to more of their songs or I’m just a poser who doesn’t know shit about music

Jack White is like Jimmy Page in terms of his guitar skills and like John Lennon Version 2.0 in terms of song writing all rolled into one. He is a fucking genius. Get Elephant or DE Stijl both amazing albums in their own right.... fast.

Have you heard Broken Social Scene? Amazing how they sound so much like SY but you still don’t hear any comparisons with them...... good shit imo

velvet teen are from north cali. they are err.. simply radiohead’s ripoff.. which was alrite.. but then they did something reaallly interesting with the new album... if you have to download one of their song donot miss and i repeat donot miss ’spin the wink’... it is one kickass tune i’d heard in a long time..pure aural E-xtasy...
