The White House Years - Henry Kissinger

This book is 1516 pages long. I have not read it. But I would like to review it.

I am glad that I have it on my shelf becuase it really looks nice and imposing. The title ’’The White House Years’’ projects me as an intellectual. I think visitors to our home are probably thinking ’’he has read this book, he is intelligent. He is a great man. He knows history. He knows about Henry Kissinger. WE dont know about Henry Kissinger. We are inferior to him.’’

I think I got this book for a dollar or 50 cents at the library sale. and its bound in a nice mediteranean sea blue cover with gold engraving. It also has the signature of Mr. Kissinger engraved in gold. So thats nice I guess. When a book is this thick I usually avoid reading it. The reason is that when I read a book I like to be horizontal on the bed. And this book is not bed freindly. Its like doing a bench press everytime I pick it up. Its not a cuddle book that gently falls on your chest as you go to sleep. This thing can choke you. I also like the old dusty smell that comes from this book. The fact is that these books are now part of history. Paper books will become obsolete. They are coming up with this new thing called E-Book or something which is a small screen the size of a paper back and uses electronic ink. and it will hold over 5000 thousand books. The days of looking classy and having a huge library at home while siting on a green leather chair next to a world globe are now over. The best thing about this book is that I use it to develop my triceps. The White House Years by Henry Kissinger. You have to have it.
