There is of one course one lacunae in the scenario u've painted- you are assuming that PMLN and PPP wud break bread with each other rather than quarrel (over who becomes the PM) and the miffed one ties up with Mush.

Of course it wud be wonderful for Pak if PPP/PMLN/MMA/ANP who between them may have a 2/3 majority come out and get rid of Mushy. That may well propel Pak towards true democracy irreversably. Later of course once Mush is out they may or may not decide to stick together.
