Republicans had figured out a while back that after 8 long years of misrule by Bush, they were likely to get defeated against Hillary, but MAY have a better chance against Obama. One way to take the luster out of Hillary's run as the first serious female presidential contender was by having the first serious black contender run against her.

This is the exact analysis that I have in my mind. Repubs, I heard massively supported CNN and other medias to downplay Hillary and boost Obama to make him the nominee b/c they're scared of Hillary's win and they know they can win Over obama within seconds.....WoW!!!
