I got that idea from watching people like Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson. These ex-segregationists had used their contempt for the NAACP and CORE to mask their real contempt for poo black fo.
While MQM may not be synonymous with Mojos, it is very easy for bigots to make the leap from MQM to muttawra to HindustaanRa to panahguzeer. Abu, I fully agree with above. Maulana Fazlur Rahman is a very wily politician who has no principles at all. Problem is that so many NWFP politicians supported musharraf and his 17th amendment that if everyone was shunned, few would be left and the province would only have ANP representation in Federal Government. Given NWFP's sensitivity, this won't be good.

Then there's also the issue that all other religious parties boycotted except fazloo, and shunning him would isolate the entire religious block which would be counter-productive.

Re 12 May, yaar I didn't see any weapons lying around the dead bodies strewn in the streets of ANP and PPP workers. It is rather futile to argue MQMs innocence. The whole world has seen the truth with its own eyes.
