This is slap on the face of Pakistanis.

Topic started by Zeena on Mar 20, 2008 6:52:56 pm

This is the most unfortunate decision in the history of Pakistan that a little teenager, Bilawal Zardari will announce the name of the PM of Pakistan.

This should be written in dark and gloomy historical event of Pakistan's history.

What is the right of Bilawal to decide for the fate of Pakistanis?

Who is Bilawal? who is zardari?who is musharaf?

Well, all these three names have errupted from no where, they have done nothing for Pakistan.

There are dozens of other competent, tested, filtered and decent and tough candidates who can be acceptable and vaqlid PM candidates of Pakistan.

This is a true democratic tragedy. This is big slap on the face of democracy and a big joke with Pakistanis.

neembu, things change all the time.
zeena, it is not fair to attack a young man who has just lost his mother. who said he's decided on his own anyway?

C'mon Zeena ... have a heart [-X Give people the right to learn from past mistakes and never to repeat them, particularly since people obviously trust them enough to have elected them again - fair & square! Have faith in Pakistani people as they always do the right thing :)

People of Pakistan will learn the hard way. They are getting what they deserve. You earn your own fate. Your concern is very valid. We need to come out of Clan or dynastic politics. Our fall started from this (nominating son as successor) and it continues. The institutions and system never took roots and funcioned to eliminate dependency on personalities. We are not moving forward but taking rounds in circles.
