A sikh would have resisted the defilement of any hindu temple. You are forgetting the past history when the gurus- please read the history of gurus and tell me how many times the gurs and othe sikhs saved temples and hindus from the momeen hordes. Do not make statements that would appear as if every sikh/hindu resistance days such as the Ghalu-gharas are denigrated as "rundi rona".

laddu why dont you make a financial contribution to your cause ? this is actually very imp and unless you can get people to donate genrously the hanuman temple is going to go bust. Do something pro-active instead of bleating on chowk mufte main. Get out them chanda boxes before its too late , dont let your team down.




Karachi, Apr 19 : Centuries-old Hanuman temple - Shri Punch Mukhi Hanuman Mandir - in Karachi is all set for a renovation, a move which the locals say was due for past several years.

Located in Soldier Bazar, the aesthetically designed temple is a heritage landmark of Karachi, where the statue of Lord "Punch Mukhi" Hanuman appears naturally in a stone surface. This statue is believed to be much older, claim worshippers.

A member of the temple committee said that work on the temple is expected to start soon. "Over the past few years the number of devotees has increased so we need to expand the temple. Moreover, the structure of the temple is now becoming weaker so the present Maharaj (Priest), Shri Ram Nath, decided to take the initiative," The News quoted Pawan Kumar Perchani as saying.

A few years back, only the renovation of the dome cost the community Rs1.8 million. It is expected that the community will have to raise much more money this time.

"We don't receive enough donations. Most of money we collect everyday is utilized for the day-to-day upkeep of the temple. We hope the Pakistan Hindu Council, formed recently, is able to raise funds now," said a caretaker at the temple.

Why should we not care about our sacred temples in Pakistan or else where??
Such an attitude has contributed to the Kashmiri Pandits almost losing their wonderful shaivite tradition.

Remember, dear boy we have to resist not only jehadis but also the 'moderate Islamists' who aid the jihadis by breaking the will and resolve to resist muslim supremacism by spreading dhimmi values ( the chant of 'Allahu' being the most visible expression of this supremacism).

If Pakistani Muslims do not protest and lend support to Paki hindus by protesting like they protest for something that happens in other lands then atleast hindus collectively must voice their concern.
Infact, all Hindus worldwide must protest collectively against such defilement to the icons and imagery of their faith and lend support to the voice of Paki hindu dhimmis.
Tell us, for how long can they remain mere spectators in fear of their lives and accept defilement to their icons , imageries and temples by zealot muslims???
