well when i made the tilapia curry i bhoonofied the salan first, and then added the filets cut into small pieces, and just barely cooked them in the salan flag objectionable content

well, from what i can see, desi food requires much of bhoono-fying/cooking of spices and filet are so nazuk that they won't hold up. you also need skin over the meat because it holds it up. filet is really for for frying etc. for salan/curry you have to have bigger pieces and haddis to hold them together. flag objectionable content

from what I remember farah saying, as long as it's surmaee (grey) you're good. I'm not sure tilpada is grey or not. I've always seen it's filets. flag objectionable content
