GT, MAD worked when there is a prescribed command and control and communication mechanism (RED PHONE). In the case of combatting jihadis, it is asymmetric. What is needed is more insidousness....look around the muslim world, there are fires going off, the jihadis wanted US out of muslims lands...well guess what...US is in more muslim lands now than ever before....they have created a clear wedge between the jihadis and the rest of muslims...lebanon is burning,palestine is halved, SE Asia brand of militant islam is all but dead, chinese are sqeezing he life out of the uighers, pakistan is getting bombed by US drones, bi-weekly...and the Jihadis are claiming victory for Iraq bascially getting dismembered into three...ummah ki phati hui hai...these conflagrations like Jaipur etc are not worth getting upset over...it is a larger war...and the islamists are reeling. Yes, I agree it is MAD. But actually I was thinking about it yesterday, not today. In Jammu 3 terrorist got into a politicians house and killed him and his wife and injured their daughter (the brave jihadis that they are). Then they slipped into another house and took the family hostage as the army surrounded them. They casually they shot a girl in the family and threw the body out ....

.... why do such things happen all the time in Heengbustan? If the above mentioned families were armed they would have at least died fighting ....
