What is the defination of Religion and what is religous minority?if i start a subsect of chritistian like baptist 7th day adventist, etc should i be given special status besides a catholic .in usa religion is considered different betwen mormon ,Grek orthodox or methodist episcopal?

Even further there are new age religins like BhagwanRajnesh ,Ba Ba RamDev ,Sri Sri RAvi Sankar .Are they be protected in the name of persecution.
Further there can be linguistic minority incountries like India Pakistan which have multiple languags spokenPunjabi is minority in Tamil nadu and Bengali is minority in Delhi .But they are majority for there respective state!!!

Is a sindhi minority i Nwfp or even "mohajir' in Sindh?
