Jaipur: A great success for the jihadis.

Topic started by GT on May 15, 2008 1:25:53 pm

[With an advanced apology to ranjit]

Before comming to Jaipur in the next paragraph, let me start with a brief deviation. If you are to ask me, what is the objecive of the jihadis in India, I would state that it is to dismantle India? But what does it mean to dismantle India? India has nothing to dismantle! Except perhaps a nascent democratic process and a whisper of secularism. And how do you dismantle a democratic process? Well you do so by inducing the unwashed to give up more power, voluntarily or otherwise, to the STATE. A state well equipped with power, run by fundamentalist forces will then get rid of secularism. Once this is done the stage is well set for the Holy War, a war that both sides feel that they are sure to win.

Jaipur was a very well chosen target, for it is ruled by the BJP. The 61 dead only comprise a lump-sum bonus for the jihadis and provide bragging rights for their supporters, like those here in chowk (open ones like ali and atif and hidden ones like ... well they are just hidden). But, the dead do not matter as arjun and stuka claim. What is quite scary is the reaction of: (i) the Rajasthan CM and (ii) that of our own Ranjit.

Lets start with the CM. "This is not a crime, we are in the middle of a war," the Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said. She also added "We require a strong law to tackle these people," ... "A strong law will frighten them not to enter into these kinds of activities." She wants to strengthen the STATE, lets conviniently forget that she was warned by the IB 45 days back. I am sure that draconian laws will form an important platform for the BJP in the next election.

So what about Ranjit? Well he has a good plan. It will nicely complement the BJP's plan. Can I oppose this plan? Yes, maybe in chowk, but definitely not in Gujrat and now perhaps in Jaipur. In both these places, there is (and will be) increasing support for Ranjit's plan.

Together, the CM and Ranjit will provide success to the jihadis. But make no mistake, this will be a success for the CM and Ranjit too. They too will be able to get rid of the 'soft' nature of the Indian state and make India 'strong'.

pakis like everyone else on the planet are as good or bad as anyone else.

sure...but how many pakis are there in gitmo? how many indian muslims? how many indonesians? same number of muslims in all 3 cases, right?

and do you know that 25% of young muslim americans think suicide bombing is justified?

and have you heard of the tamil tigers or the IRA ? were they also muslim

theirs wasn't a religious thing...

if a catholic spaniard blew up the london subway because of what the brits were doing to the catholic irish, that would be catholic terrorism

perhaps you are right ana. i am more disappointed than disgusted. i can understand the defensive posture...afterall the army is made up of pakistanis. It is this insistence to ask for evidence whether kids from bradford are training at camps in pakistan...in a country where the army and isi set up the infrastrure. I find that amusing. is it naivete or indignance that drives that*-)

chaltoo. . . you are a little more than amused. downright disgusted is more like it. but anyhoo, it's almost midnight in your NYC. . . no? west coast ki ye baat hai, when we're raring to go, y'all are raring to go to sleep.

clifty, irish didn't fly planes into buildings. tamils growing up in london don't attend suicide training camps in tamislistan to blow up buses in london to promote the cause for tails. what makes pakis so special?*-)

what is it? why do kfc's burn in karachi when US invades iraq? what is it?*-)

I am hardly a jihadi. I am just amused at the blame displacement and ostrich syndrome among pakistanis. but it is not much different from the general muslim sentiment..."why us?" and "who did this to us?'

:)

beej stop drinking.

And chaltoo you are just a diff. type of jihadi and because you are so overwhelmingly biased its impossible ....100% impossible to have a meaningful conversation with you. And thats why im not even trying. Id speak to ranjit OTOH and hear anything he had to say because he isnt like you.

The only person worth having a conversation with about this is arjun (ana ofcourse) because that was a genuine back and forth with two people disagreeing but listening.

Goodnight bridge.

Unlike the bridge, a human needs sleep!

Stop doing so much "bhalai" and "well-wishing" for the Kahsmiris and then perhaps they can breathe in peace.

They may even continue to breathe! (T)

Clifty, I cited stephen coll's book. there is ample evidence out there of pakistan's complicitness in spawning, nurturing, mobilizing jihadi cunts across borders. If you want to act like an ostrich, then fine. It is your perogative....it must indeed be painful. There is a reason why pakistanis have to register when visiting, there is a reason why they are held over and scrutinized longer at airports around the world, there is a reason why jihad is a dirty word above and beyong just a "personal struggle". The rest of the world cannot be wrong. Even if u wish it so.

pakis like everyone else on the planet are as good or bad as anyone else. There are beautiful and horrible things about our country and i get enough lectures from tahmed chachoo on the resolve of the paki people.

You say something that isnt factually true, i point it out and the next thing i know i am being emotionally blackmailed and lectured ....i dont ever respond well to that stuff [-X
