A Sacred Ritual

Every time he used that lighter, it brought back a flood of memories: that special someone who gave it to him who was now but a vague memory, the place, the time…he remembered everything

Driving to work

Do I have everything on me? The usual morning ritual was coming to a close, it was time to go to work…laptop, cell phone, smokes, rolling paper, hashish, glasses…am I missing anything?

The Call

Was I not in a position to pray? Would I be committing another big sin by responding to the call whilst being intoxicated? I didn’t have the answers. I still don’t. but that’s not reason enough … to not respond.

A Few Hundred Dollars

So where are we headed after this? I don’t know, what do you have in mind; I wouldn’t mind getting some food for later on, it’s always a good idea. I’m not hungry though. Brain over stomach my friend, that’s the first step. C
