SUBROTO ROY’s works include Philosophy of Economics: On the Scope of Reason in Economic Inquiry (Routledge, London & New York, International Library of Philosophy, 1989, 1991), and, co-edited with W. E. James, Foundations of India’s Political Economy: Towards an agenda for the 1990s and Foundations of Pakistan’s Political Economy: Towards an agenda for the 1990s (University of Hawaii MS 1989, Sage 1992, 1993). He has been professor at IIT Kharagpur’s Vinod Gupta School of Management since 1996 where he teaches economics and financial derivatives.
