The Dusty Eternal Earth
Dust flies up with each step as you walk on the burned golden earth. Soft particles, finer than talcum that enter your body through your pores and coat individual strands of your hair with coarseness.

This is my place, coated with dust, seasoned with heat. Sit down, relax, drink some nimbu paani and soak in the life of the eternal earth.

Background
A master’s degree in Communications prepared me perfectly for a life in the spotlight, chiming, ’would you like fries or onion rings with that?’

Luckily (for me at least) I was rescued from that charming fate when I entered the world of computer book publishing. So any of you out there, budding writers *and* computer gurus, you know who to call/e-mail.

Work
Like I said, I am an acquisitions editor for a computer book publisher. Part of the job is to grow market share, generate book ideas, find and recruit authors, negotiate contracts and play bad cop...and well...bad cop.

Interests
Hmmm.....apart from sleeping I love to read and write and hike. But most of all I love lazy, late evenings when reality evaporates and the thin curtain of the imagination flutters seductively, inviting me to enter...i.e. times when I am not doing anything at all.

Final
Always bitch about other people because they are probably bitching about you.
