Abrar Akbar

A student of Pakistani descent at The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH)
Stockholm, Sweden, pursuing Masters in Computer Sciences. Another story that much more interested in politics and social issues than computers.

As Arundhati Roy puts it, “The trouble is that once you see it, you can’t
unsee it. And once you’ve seen it, keeping quiet, saying nothing, becomes as political an act as speaking out.’ Therefore, occasionally write partly not to be just a passive, indifferent spectator and partially to soothe the spiritual pain.

Probably, having lived in Sweden all my adult life, I have become an ardent social democrat. Obviously, don’t dream about an unrealistic utopian world, but gross social injustices do tear my heart apart.
